Facilities
There are many factors to consider when
planning a new religious facility. Beck, Powell & Parsons
has worked with many growing religious communities to help
them plan, design, and build their ideal worship, social and
educational spaces.
Beck, Powell & Parsons works closely with congregational
leaders throughout the design and construction process.
Because we have extensive experience with these types of
facilities, we are able to guide you through the process of
setting program goals that are consistent with long-term
growth and fund raising capabilities.
We recommend involving all functional committees in the
planning process, including worship, religious education,
pastoral counseling, music, operations and maintenance.
Gathering input from all parties contributes to the success
of the design by allowing us to capture the group’s vision
while creating spaces that are highly functional for
worship, social and educational use.
During the design process, Beck, Powell & Parsons will
develop and update program budgets, as well as design, fund
raising, construction and fit-out schedules. As your program
advisor, Beck, Powell & Parsons will assist in the selection
of a contractor, the selection and ordering of all furniture
and interior appointments, and the installation of special
systems such as audio and video equipment
